STOCK CAR: HEAT START: 8 - HEAT FINISH: 1st

Car looked good in the heats and just as good in the feature. We had just taken over 1st when wrecks started to happen. The number 18 car (not sure who that is) got into Fraise and Fraise rolled on the back stretch. Howard Gordon Jr. had a nasty roll on the front stretch. And it was wanting to sprinkle by the time they cleaned up everything. We were hoping for them to call the race but they were determined to run a green, white, checker no matter what. On the restart we thought the car had a flat tire and asked the promoter but he saw nothing. So on last lap of the restart, the 17P went low to hang with Rick Brown who was giving a very challenge for the lead, and the car went straight to the wall, colliding with Kevin Bidne on the way. THEN they call the race!! Action was happening on the track as the 18 car and 78R car get tangled on that last lap in 3 & 4 and take time out to settle the disagreement on the front stretch. No qualifying for us that night. Top 6 that transfer are Rick Brown, Brian Fullenkamp, Jeremy Jerve, Kevin Bidne, Rick Gustin, Jason Minnehan.

Stock car was not looking too bad but because of a little bit of a squeeze going into turn 3, we lost some ground. On to the B Main
B FEATURE START: 2 FINISH: 1st (On to the A)
A FEATURE START: 23 FINISH: DNF
The feature was a tough one but had made our way to 11th and still had some laps to go. On a restart, the 18 car moved up to our lane on the green at the flag stand and the 17P car got stuck in the wall. Went to the rear with the 18 car but did not have any time to get any passing and the front end needed worked on. The top 6 qualifiers were Jeff Zehr, Jim Lynch, Zack Vander Beek, Mike Hughes, Damon Murty, Dusty Vis.

STOCK CAR: HEAT START: 2 - HEAT FINISH: 1st (We are in the Feature - 14th Position!)
FEATURE START: 14th FINISH:1st (WIN #131) and Winner of the $10,000 to Win!!
We are thrilled to say the least. The whole race was raced very fast and very clean. Only a couple yellows and no serious wrecks. The 17P car moved up very steadily through the field and when it got near the front runners they were all running the bottom line. The 17P moved high and moved on by to the lead about lap 16 and never looked back for the rest of the 35 lap feature. Mike Hughes and Ron Ver Beek had a good run going for them and got close with about 5 laps to go but the 17P stock car still had some tire left and pulled away from them again. We still held our breathe on that last white flag lap as we have seen things happen before on that white lap, but the 17P car sailed on in to the checkers! Great Job Brad!!

FEATURE START: 7 FINISH: DNF
Modified had to come in to the work area for a loose air filter. The guys had to scramble to get it fixed and back out on the track. But in a few laps, it broke a bar in the rear and had to be brought in. Oh well... Hey, we won the Stock Car event!
